Priveasy ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Priveasy mobile application (the "App"), an e-commerce platform for browsing, previewing with AI, and purchasing blinds and related products. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your information when you use the App. It applies to all users (including Business Partners and complies with applicable data protection laws, including requirements from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information You Provide Directly
    • Account registration data:Full name, email address, phone number, password, delivery address, and state/province.
    • Order-related information:Payment details (processed securely via third-party payment providers), order preferences, and communication history.
    • Feedback and ratings: Stars, comments, and reviews submitted after order delivery.
    • Customer support communications.
  • Device and Usage Information (Automatically Collected)
    • Device identifiers, IP address, operating system, app version, and crash logs.
    • Usage data:Interactions with the App (e.g., viewed products, searches, filters used, time spent).
    • Analytics data to improve app performance and user experience.
  • Sensitive Permissions and Data
    • Camera access:Required for the "Capture Photo" option in the AI Preview feature to take photos of your room/window.
    • Photo Library/Gallery access:Required for the "Upload from Gallery" option in the AI Preview feature.
    • Location data: Location data is not collected unless explicitly required for delivery estimation (foreground only, with your consent). We do not collect background location.
  • AI Preview Feature Data
    • Uploaded or captured photos of your room and window for virtual blind overlay visualization.
    • These images are processed temporarily using AI to generate previews (drag, resize, open/close simulation, color changes).
    • Images are not stored on our servers after the preview session ends unless you explicitly choose to save or share them (which you control).
  • Payment Information
  • We do not store full payment card details. All payments are processed securely by third-party payment gateways compliant with PCI DSS standards.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes (limited to what is necessary for core App functionality):

  • To create and manage your account, process orders, and fulfill deliveries.
  • To provide the AI Preview feature (processing uploaded/captured images temporarily on-device or via secure cloud processing for overlay visualization).
  • To personalize your experience (e.g., remembering preferences, color selections).
  • To communicate order updates, notifications, and customer support.
  • To improve the App, fix bugs, and analyze usage trends (aggregated/anonymized data).
  • To prevent fraud, enforce terms, and ensure security.
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax, accounting, dispute resolution).

We do not use your data for unrelated advertising, profiling for third-party marketing, or sale of personal data.

3. Sharing of Information

We share information only as described below:

  • With service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, AI processing partners, payment processors, delivery/logistics partners) who are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
  • With business partners/vendors listed in the App (order fulfillment only, they receive shipping details, not full profile data).
  • In an aggregated, anonymized form for analytics and improvement purposes.
  • If required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property (including in mergers/acquisitions).

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-app/website tracking without your explicit consent (App Tracking Transparency on iOS).

4. AI and Image Processing Specifics

Our AI Preview feature uses artificial intelligence to overlay and adjust blinds on your uploaded or captured images.

  • Processing is performed securely, often on-device where possible, or via encrypted transmission to trusted AI service providers.
  • Uploaded images are processed temporarily and deleted after the session (unless you save them locally on your device).
  • We do not retain, train models on, or share your personal room photos with third parties for unrelated purposes.
  • All AI processing complies with data minimization and purpose limitation principles.

5. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

  • Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption (in-transit and at-rest).
  • We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
  • Data is retained only as long as necessary:
    • Account data — while your account is active + reasonable period after deletion.
    • Order data — for accounting, warranty, and legal purposes (e.g., up to 7 years for accounting and tax compliance).
    • AI preview images — deleted immediately after the session ends.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent (where consent is the basis).
  • Opt-out of certain processing.
  • Complain with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@priveasy.com. We will respond within legally required timeframes (e.g., 30–45 days).

Device Permissions: You can manage camera, gallery, and notification permissions via your device settings. Denying permissions may limit features (e.g., AI Preview), but we provide alternatives where feasible.

Account Deletion: You can delete your account from the Profile section. Upon deletion, we will remove identifiable personal data except where retention is required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App may include links or integrations with third-party services (e.g., payment providers, analytics tools). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

8. International Data Transfers

As a global service (with users potentially in Pakistan and beyond), data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your residence, including those with different data protection standards. We ensure that appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) are in place for such transfers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and/or notified via email/in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
